Avila Beach
DESCRIPTION: The Avila Beach Hotel is centrally located in the Pietermaai District and features two private beaches. Both beaches are protected from the wind and large waves by offshore breakwaters and consequently offer calm water for visitors to enjoy. The breakwaters make it ideal for small children to float in the calm ocean or to discover the beautiful house reef while snorkeling. The palm trees that dot its white sandy beaches offer plenty of shade. Avila Beach also offers parasols and one-pole tiki huts.

Blue Bay Beach
DESCRIPTION: Its a shady beach just northwest of Willemstad with lots of facilities. It’s popular with local families and visitors because of the soft white sand. The sea floor slopes gently from the beach, so children enjoy playing here. There are lounge chairs, palm trees, shade umbrellas, a nice bar and restaurant, a water sports center and a bikini shop. There is a children’s playground, a fairly large pool, and showers and toilets. On Sundays, you can join a barbecue lunch. An small admission fee for Blue Bay is charged.

Boka St. Michiel
DESCRIPTION: Small boats bob in the bay of this traditional fishing village just west of town. The dive club on the pier has public restrooms and a restaurant. The small beach, also known as Boka Sami, has no shade and little sand, but lovely water, a small fishing pier. There are two simple, good fish restaurants nearby. You can also explore the salt marsh or climb a trail that runs up the hill to the west of the beach.

Caracasbaai
DESCRIPTION: The beach is made of coarse sand and pebbles and is popular for snorkeling and diving because its part of the underwater park. Also popular with the island residents. There are several small restaurants, the water is usually calm and the admission is always free.

Cas Abao Beach
DESCRIPTION: This white sandy beach with crystal clear waters, palm trees and gazebos is a welcome retreat. Cas Abao is ideal for swimmers of all ages and its reefs are a paradise for snorkelers and scuba divers. A raft for sunbathing and playing is moored off the beach. There is a bar, restaurant, showers and a massage facility. Open daily from 8 am to 6 pm.

Kokomo Beach
DESCRIPTION: A nice beach to enjoy with the family, have a great lunch, taste cocktails or tune-up in the cristal clear water. We have lounges to relax, read a book, or just hang out with a cold beer. There is no entrance-fee and there are plenty of beach chairs. Kokomo also has a professional dive center that can show you the amazing underwater world of Kokomo Beach.

Daaibooi Beach
DESCRIPTION: A small bay close to town, this beach has good snorkeling along its rocky ledge and a small fishermen’s cove. Pergolas provide adequate shade and there is also a snack bar that is open both during the week as on the weekend. To the west of the beach, a small trail leads into the countryside.

Playa Lagun Beach
DESCRIPTION: Visit this narrow, picturesque cove late in the day. Linger to watch the sun set, when you can fully appreciate the exceptionally clear water without minding the lack of shade. Uneven steps cut into the rocks lead from the parking area to Jeremi Beach. This location is a real escape from the public without amenities and no entrance fee.

Playa Porto Mari
A beautiful sandy bay on the private estate of Plantages. Its white coral sand beach, with clear and calm water, is a true paradise for water lovers. The double reef is easily accessible from the shore, providing a fascinating snorkel and dive site. There’s a dive operator at the beach. Before needing the beach, two nature trails have their starting point at the beach parking lot. All activities at Playa Porto Mari are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Water is recycled for the toilets and irrigation, the boardwalks are made from discarded pallets. Playa Porto Mari is open every day and the beachside bar and restaurant offer visitors a variety of delicious tropical drinks and meals. Open daily from 9:30a-6:30p.
