Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE)

Car Rentals: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, National, and Thrifty provide service. Ard's Shuttle (803-791-5767), Earth Shuttle (803-714-0080) and

Taxis cost $15-$17 for the 6-mile journey to downtown.


Shuttleways (803-783-0265) provides shuttle service.


TRAINS

 

The train station is at 850 Pulaski Street in Columbia.Amtrak Silver Service between NYC-Philadelphia-Washington-Richmond-Raleigh- Columbia-Savannah-Jacksonville and Miami runs daily.


TRANSIT


Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (CMRTA) bus service fans outward from downtown to all major sites in the region. Columbia does not have rail transit.

 

DRIVING


Columbia Freeway System: Located at the intersection of Interstate 77, 26 and 20 freeways and situated 75 miles from I-95, this city is well connected in the Southeast. Beware of construction widening delays on various stretches of this growing metro area.
