CTA Tours
For tours of the Northside, Westside and Southside of Chicago on a budget, catch one of several CTA buses in front of the Art Institute on South Michigan Ave. On Saturdays from May through September, tours are given aboard CTA trains as they circle the Loop on the L train. Chicago Architecture Foundation tour guides point out buildings of historic architectural interest, the 'L' and its role in the development of the Central Business District.
