Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) has been modernized and is only 20 minutes from the Boardwalk. And AC is only 60-minute drive from Philadelphia International Airport via Atlantic City Expressway. You can fly into AC directly from Delta’s hubs in Cincinnati and Atlanta and on Spirit Airlines direct from Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Myrtle Beach and Fort Myers. By Car From Philadelphia: exit Pennsylvania Turnpike at Valley Forge, Exit 24, onto the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) through Philadelphia to the Walt Whitman or Benjamin Franklin Bridge, N/S Freeway to the Atlantic City Expressway. The trip takes about 60 minutes. From New York and North Major interstate highways connect the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 38 to the Atlantic City Expressway. New Jersey Transit departs from Philadelphia 30th Street (Train) Station and arrives at the terminal adjacent to the Atlantic City Convention Center. The Philadelphia-Atlantic City Rail Line runs 12 trains per day in each direction; Free shuttle service is available at the Atlantic City Rail Terminal to each casino
Atlantic City Jitneys
Run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; popular 13-passenger jitneys move the entire length of Pacific Avenue, parallel to the Boardwalk; for a convenient way to travel around town, everyone rides the Jitney; they also travel the entire length of the city, from the inlet to Jackson Ave, from the Marinato the Casinos; routes are also available to the casinos in the Marina District and to the Atlantic City Convention Center; Jitney stops are located on many corners of every route and originate one block from the Boardwalk on Pacific Avenue; stops are designated by signs with color-coded route numbers.
